English Vocabulary Video Classes for Kids

These English vocabulary video classes help children build stronger word knowledge through simple, guided practice. Students can listen, watch, and review vocabulary words in a way that supports reading, writing, speaking, and overall language arts growth.

Vocabulary is an important part of reading comprehension. When children understand more words, they are better able to understand stories, nonfiction passages, directions, and everyday conversations. Video lessons can make vocabulary practice easier because students can hear the words, see examples, and review the meaning more than once.

You can use these English vocabulary video classes during homeschool language arts lessons, independent learning time, morning work, or extra review. Students can watch the lesson, pause when needed, repeat words out loud, and practice using new vocabulary in sentences.

For younger learners, parents can watch the video with their child and talk through each word together. Older students may be able to watch more independently and then complete a follow-up activity, such as writing a sentence, drawing a picture, or explaining the word in their own words.

These video classes are a good fit for homeschool students who need support with vocabulary, reading comprehension, word meaning, speaking skills, and language arts confidence. They can also be used as review for students who benefit from hearing and seeing information before completing written work.
